Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery, assessing their physical and emotional condition, obtaining informed consent, and ensuring completion of all necessary pre-operative procedures.
- Ensure the operating room environment is safe, sterile, and properly equipped for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients post-operative recovery, including assessing vital signs, managing pain, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Registered Nurses actively assist surgeons and healthcare professionals during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and care.
