Green Cross health are seeking for General Practitioner to join their team in Whangarei Central, Northland in New Zealand. The ideal candidate, actively pursuing vocational registration or already vocationally registered, will collaborate closely with a skilled team of nurses, fellow general practitioners, and experienced administration staff, all under the guidance of a dedicated practice manager. It have ability to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages within the hospital. It have a ability to collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists to optimize patient care. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range NZ$90,000 to NZ$180,000 per year, with the flexibility to work 7-9 sessions per week within a hospital. Responsibilities for General Practitioner (GP):
- Candidate must completion of a medical degree from a recognized institution is essential. This typically includes undergraduate education followed by medical school training.
- It must be full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for registration is necessary.
- Vocationally registered GPs or those working toward vocational registration are preferred.
- Completion of general practice training or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective patient interactions, collaboration with healthcare teams, and documentation of medical records.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds are essential for providing patient-centred care.
