Te Whatu Ora are seeking for ward clerk- PICU to join their team at starship children hospital in Auckland city, New Zealand. The paediatric intensive care unit( PICU) is a national service for all children requiring intensive care. For this position, candidate have ability to work in a fast-paced environment with highly experienced multi-disciplinary professionals. It have ability to provide quality care within the hospital. Candidate is responsible for the maintenance of patient files, arranging and monitoring patients movements and assisting in ward management functions. For this full-time position offers a competitive salary range $65,000 per year. It must have clerical experience with at least 2 years experienced in starship children health department.
Qualifications for Ward Clerk-PICU:
- Candidate must have at least 2 years experience in clerical department.
- It must have high school diploma.
- It must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with patients and their families.
- Ability to provide have quality care within the hospital.
Requirements for Ward Clerk-PICU:
- Candidate must have ability to manage multiple task efficiently and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, record-keeping and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Working in a paediatric healthcare setting require sensitivity and empathy towards children and their families during challenging time.
- Ability to work independently or within the multidisciplinary team environment.
