Technical Manager Job In New Zealand

Onside organization is looking  for technical manager to join their team at Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain robust, scalable and effective software applications while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Onside provides innovative, cutting-edge software solution to farmers and agribusiness, solving complex problems with advanced technology. The candidate must provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members, mentoring them in software development best practices, coding techniques and design patterns. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $130,000 per year. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer science and software engineering.

Qualifications for Technical Manager:

• Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in computer science and software engineering.
• It must have senior level coding expertise using both Core and Net framework.
• Experience in agile methodologies and Kanban, focusing on iterative development, continuous improvement and efficient workflow management.
• Ability to control and continuous integration and continuous deployment technologies including Git and Azure devo’s.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities for Technical Manager:

• Candidate have ability to develop and maintain robust, scalable and efficient in using software applications including core and net framework.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Collaborate with the test and customer support teams to resolve issues to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical workshops to ensure code quality and scalability of software solutions.
