Halter is seeking for virtual fencing research to join their team in Waikato, New Zealand. The ideal candidate must have ability to provide input into new and existing product features to our customer success team to ensure our products are meeting and exceeding our customers expectations. Halter organization is focusing on designing and develop new features for animals and our customers in their day to day operations. This internship job offers a competitive salary range from $20-$25 per hour. Applicants must hold bachelor’s degree in agriculture, engineering and computer science program.
Qualifications for Virtual Fencing Research:
- Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering and Computer science programs.
- It must have basic understanding of IoT, GPS technology and agricultural practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, R, Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities for Virtual Fencing Research:
- Candidate must have ability to assist in the design, development and testing of virtual fencing technologies.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support R&D projects.
- Collect and analyse field data related to virtual fencing trials.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of prototypes in various field conditions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all research activities.
