We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our cleaning crew and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors to experience the magic of Waitomo.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular spot checks and cleaning duties to maintain high standards across all facilities.
• Collaborate with the Manager to plan and manage tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
• Maintain stock, equipment, and consumables, and request replacements as needed.
• Support the team in meeting Health and Safety requirements and ensure compliance.
• Assist with planning for holiday cleaning requirements.
• Report faulty equipment and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

• Current driver’s license.
• First Aid qualification (Level 1) is an advantage.
• Ability to engage and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
• Energetic, professional, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Availability for a 7-day operation, including weekends.
• Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Ao Māori is an advantage.
• General fitness level to perform physical tasks.
