You keep critical transport infrastructure in your region running and ensure that all road users reach their destination safely and relaxed.

These are your tasks

We work on computer systems that are responsible for controlling intelligent road traffic technology, such as traffic lights and components for autonomous driving.

  • First, you will receive intensive training in our in-house academy. We will teach you everything you need for your new job. Experience with traffic engineering is not required.
  • As an IT system technician (f/m/d), you will then assume technical responsibility for our customers’ traffic computer systems in the greater Bremen area.
  • You put complex computer systems into operation, maintain them, react to faults that occur and escalate problems.
  • You will be on-site at the customer’s premises to install new systems and carry out some maintenance work.
  • The majority of tasks are carried out remotely via remote access.
  • You troubleshoot hardware or software problems and interpret alarm and error messages.
  • You are the technical contact for our customers (cities, municipalities and other public sector clients).
  • You support and advise colleagues from sales and office staff on the conception of system architectures and plant migrations.

This is what you bring with you

  • A university degree in computer science, IT systems engineering or electrical engineering.
  • You are familiar with network technologies (especially in the areas of routing, VLAN, firewall, NAT), IT security, virtualization (VMware), Kubernetes and the common operating systems Microsoft Windows and Linux.
  • You are motivated to familiarize yourself with new, modern technologies and to acquire additional qualifications such as a PSSE certification (Product Solution and Security Experts) to ensure IT security guidelines (keyword KRITIS, critical infrastructure) for our central systems.
  • Knowledge of road traffic technology is a plus but not a must
  • You are fluent in German and have good English skills and hold a valid driving license.
