Carinya Christian School
The objective of this role is to support the work of the Maintenance Team by completing general cleaning duties across all aspects of the school 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 3 – 4 hours per day. Shift availabilities negotiable (Morning, Day, Afternoon)
- General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to:
- vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors;
- cleaning desks, window sills, whiteboards and other surfaces;
- removing and disposing of rubbish;
- cleaning student and staff amenities including kitchen areas, washrooms, toilets, and showers.
- The position holder reports to the Maintenance Manager.
THE APPLICANT
The clean and tidy presentation of our school is a very important aspect of Carinya and so our Cleaners are expected to be hard workers with an eye for detail. Self-motivation is a must as the applicant will be mostly working alone in an assigned area during term time, and often working as part of a team during school holiday times. People who are new to cleaning, but happy to receive advice and on-the-job training, are welcome to apply.
Applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical persuasion.
THE SCHOOL
Carinya is a co-educational Christian school with sites in Tamworth & Gunnedah. Tamworth has over 800 students in Prep to Year 12.
