Casual Cleaner Required in Downer,  New Zealand

Our cleaners provide a range of cleaning services to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene while presenting a professional and safe environment for our staff and customers. This position involves working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The cleaner position therefore requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and an ability to manage their own time in order to meet deadlines. The role involves manual handling and lifting and may require incumbents to stand for lengthy periods. We are looking for Casual Cleaners who are available between 6am to 6pm to cover shifts when needed. We have sites based around the Auckland Airport and Mt Wellington.

About you:

• Previous experience in cleaning within a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and procedures.
• Understanding of infection control practices and workplace health and safety.
• Strong attention to detail, high cleaning standards, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work across a range of shifts and adapt to varying start and finish times.
• Ability to function autonomously while maintaining high levels of professionalism, courtesy, and empathy when interacting with patients and staff.
