Mechanical technician/Welder Required In Holcium, US

Under the responsibility of the Career Manager, the maintenance technician installs, checks, maintains, adjusts, cleans and repairs the installations and machines for which he is responsible. He checks them regularly according to the maintenance plan to ensure their proper functioning, thus preventing possible incidents, by implementing QSE compliance standards. His main missions are:

SAFETY

In compliance with the site’s safety rules, as well as specific instructions relating to equipment maintenance:

• Ensure that protective equipment is working properly and perform effective manual handling actions and positions to protect yourself;
• Apply the waste management and pollution risk prevention procedure.

MAINTENANCE OF THE INSTALLATION

• Carry out visits and checks in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan
• Detect incidents and anomalies occurring on the installations and intervene or call on the competent person in the event of a major problem.
• Carry out routine maintenance operations, such as lubricating equipment in accordance with operating procedures;
• Keep sensitive areas of equipment clean, as provided for in the instructions, without forgetting finishing and decoration work;
• Report daily on activities and, where appropriate, raise awareness of any difficulties encountered.

SUPPLY MANAGEMENT

• Manage the supply of consumables and materials required for the various planned works.
• Monitor the activity of subcontractors

Course

Vocational Baccalaureate or Bac+2 with 3 years of experience in a similar profession

Knowledge

• Mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler making, welding.
• Proficiency in reading plans, diagrams and technical instructions
• Master Health & Safety standards and ensure they are respected

Know-how

• Manual dexterity, speed of execution and precision
• Ability to draft work permits, intervention documents and monitor subcontractors
