The Opportunity

• Roster: 48hrs M-F, D/N Rotational | Early finish on Friday (no weekends)
• Earnings from $127k or $51ph + Super, loaded rate Guide Only
• Increase your earnings with optional overtime available
• Our Machine Engineering Workshop is seeking a Boilermaker and fabricator to provide workshop-based repairs on Caterpillar machinery and components to restore outgoing mobile plant equipment to like new condition.

This role will join a wider on-shift team of 40+ First Class Machinists, Boilermakers and Trades Assistants. Our machine shop boasts a 2000~ sqr meter shed equipped with over 20 robotic generated machines used for both manual and CNC tasks. For Boilermaker candidates who have experience leading a team, we are additionally undergoing recruitment for a Leading Hand and encourage your application.

• MIG Welding- Multi wire *(essential)
• Alloy TIG Welding *(essential)
• Submerged Arc Welding *(essential)
• Cast Iron Welding
• Flux-Core Welding
• Oxy Cutting & Air Arc Gouging
• Internal Bore Welding

Skills

• Cert 3 Engineering Fabrication Trade Qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a workshop-based role
• Advanced technical skill in precision welding (applicants may be weld tested in the pre-employment process)
