HME-Fabrication/Welder Job in Fortescue, Australia

Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance, the Supervisor role will oversee Heavy equipment maintenance related activities on our fleet of Caterpillar & Komatsu haul trucks, Water carts, Caterpillar Ancillary equipment, Liebherr and Cat 400t and 600T excavators and Epiroc Drill rigs. The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization, leadership and support of our Fabrication team within Mobile Maintenance. This is a great opportunity for a safety orientated leader that holds a strong skillset within this field.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrating a strong safety culture and instilling this within your team.
• Providing support, mentoring, and coaching to the Mobile Maintenance Fabrication team.
• Maintain budget and safety performance whilst ensuring targets are met.
• Providing safe, effective, and timely outcomes.
• Ensure all team activities are aligned with the overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Fabrication Trade qualification essential within Mobile Maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience within a leadership role with a proven commitment to safety.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale operations.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
