The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Part Time Handyperson/Maintenance Team Member with proven experience within the facilities field. This position will be based at Rouse Hill Town Centre in Rouse Hill, NSW 2155 under a rotational roster of:
The overall functions of this role are:
- General handy-person and trade duties
- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work
- Maintain the presentation of the centre to a high standard
- Provide excellent customer service skills in order to deal with tenants and clients
- Flexibility to work across different shifts
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Previous experience within retail environment
- Ability to manage a team and work stand-alone.
- Qualification in either carpentry/plumbing/electrical engineering will be favourable, but not mandatory
- Versatile handy-person skills
- Be self-motivated and responsible
- Have good time management and organizational skills
- Physically capable of moving equipment
- Liaise with customers and customer complaints
- Trade qualification in either carpentry, plumbing, painting etc
- Ability to use Power tools, Forklift, scissor lift (EWP) highly desirable
- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Check
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
