Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Boilermakers to join our high performing Maintenance & Engineering Team on site. Clermont Open Cut produces close to 12 million tonnes of coal per year and is a high performing, low cost, truck & shovel operation, located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the core purpose of this vital role is to assist in the day-to-day requirements of a Maintenance Boilermaker for Clermont Open Cut. As we have multiple vacancies across our Field and HME Workshop teams, you will be a key stakeholder in providing technical leadership, guidance and support to site regarding maintenance management and compliance to the SHMS.
As a Maintenance Boilermaker at Clermont Open Cut your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Follow safe work practices
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and housekeeping standards
- You will possess the following skillset and attributes:
- Certification III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/ Welding)
- GCAA Level 2 welding competency
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in large mining operation
- QLD Drivers Licence
- This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in implementing best practice using a hands-on approach.
