About the Role

As a General Factory Hand, you’ll play a vital role in manufacturing and assembling products that meet the needs of our valued customers. This dynamic role offers variety, allowing you to work across different areas of our business, from operating machinery to collaborating with dispatch and customer service teams. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Manufacturing Operations: Operate metal folding, roll-forming, and bending machines, along with other general manufacturing equipment, to produce high-quality products.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

• Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers regarding orders and project-related work, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.

• Forklift Duties: Perform general forklift tasks to support production and dispatch (forklift ticket preferred but not essential).

• Training Participation: Engage in training to learn how to use specific plant and equipment safely and effectively.

• Quality and Safety Focus: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while strictly adhering to our critical safety rules to ensure a safe working environment.

• Problem-Solving: Address challenges creatively to meet customer requirements and enhance their experience.

Key Requirements:

• Work Experience: Relevant experience in a factory or manufacturing environment (training provided for machinery operation).

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop solutions that meet customer needs effectively.

• Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers for basic tasks.

• Enthusiasm and Energy: A positive attitude and willingness to work with pace and dedication to enhance the customer experience.

• Safety Commitment: Strict adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.

Preferred (Not Essential):

• Forklift Ticket and MR Truck License: Highly regarded, but we’re happy to support you in obtaining these if needed.
