About the Role

As a Poultry Worker on our laying farms, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health and productivity of our hens, contributing to the efficient production of high-quality, hygienic eggs. Working within a supportive team on a 14-day site roster (providing 365-day coverage), you’ll perform hands-on tasks in a relaxed, rural environment. This role offers comprehensive training, opportunities to operate advanced systems, and the chance to grow within our expanding agribusiness. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Flock Health Monitoring: Proactively monitor and maintain the health and well-being of poultry flocks at all times.

• Animal Husbandry: Perform general husbandry tasks, including monitoring feeding and watering systems to ensure optimal conditions for hens.

• Machinery Operation: Operate machinery and equipment to maintain efficient poultry systems, with training provided.

• Team Collaboration: Work cohesively within a team on a roster basis to meet daily production requirements.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to workplace health and safety, quarantine, and biosecurity standards to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• System Maintenance: Work within various intensive livestock systems, ensuring cleanliness and system optimization.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, completing tasks with attention to detail to uphold egg quality standards.

• Training Participation: Engage in provided training to enhance your skills and knowledge of poultry farming tasks.
