We are seeking dedicated Vegetable Farm Workers to join our team in a rural setting, contributing to the cultivation and harvest of high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.

• Hand harvest vegetables and clear fields of wood and stones.

• Weed and maintain crop health.

• Grade vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, color, and volume for marketability.

• Divide harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.

• Examine produce for quality and readiness for the market.

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

• Harvest crops, including melons, onions, potatoes, and sugar beets.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

• Experience: Previous farm or related experience is an asset but not mandatory.

• Languages: Proficiency in English.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • Physically demanding role involving repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

• Work Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in a rural area with potato and vegetable crops.
