Dovida, a national provider of high-quality, person-centered home care, is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team in Toowoomba, QLD. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults and individuals living with disabilities, becoming an essential part of their “Circle of Care.” This casual role involves assisting with daily tasks, providing companionship, and delivering complex care with kindness, respect, and understanding. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centered support, including everyday companionship, domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, or social outings.
• Build trusting relationships with clients, bringing joy, connection, and support to their daily lives.
• Assist with a range of tasks tailored to clients’ needs, from basic household duties to more complex care requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and navigate various applications using a laptop/tablet and smartphone.
• Adhere to Dovida’s mission of empowering and uplifting clients through compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements:

• A big heart, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors and their families.
• Personable, compassionate, and approachable with strong relationship-building skills.
• Must be located in Toowoomba and willing to travel a reasonable distance between clients.
• Valid Australian driver’s license, access to a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance.
• Access to a laptop/tablet and a smartphone to manage various applications.
• No prior experience required, as full training is provided.
• Willingness to undergo any necessary background checks, such as an NDIS Worker Screening Check, if required.
