Key Responsibilities

As a Farm Worker in our poultry operations, you will:

• Monitor the health, welfare, and behavior of poultry flocks daily.

• Feed and water birds according to established schedules.

• Collect, clean, and pack eggs, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Clean and disinfect poultry houses, cages, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene.

• Assist in loading and unloading birds during transport.

• Operate basic farm equipment and ensure it is maintained in safe working condition.

• Follow strict biosecurity and animal welfare protocols.

• Assist with general farm maintenance, including cleaning, repairing, and organizing work areas.

• Report any unusual conditions, health concerns, or production issues to supervisors.

Education & Experience

• Education: No formal education required. Training will be provided on-site.

• Experience: Previous farm or poultry experience is an asset, but not mandatory. Candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be considered.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Strong observation skills to monitor bird health and behavior.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm safety.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Dependability, punctuality, and adaptability to changing farm needs.

Working Conditions
