Key Responsibilities

As a Driver at Singhs Milk 2020 Limited, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Operating company vehicles to deliver dairy products across Auckland City and surrounding areas.

• Planning efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries within scheduled timeframes.

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with products in a safe and organized manner.

• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and following delivery schedules.

• Performing routine checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reporting maintenance issues.

• Ensuring safe handling of products to maintain their quality during transport.

• Providing excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and responsive to customer needs.

• Following all road safety laws, company policies, and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• A valid New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 1 required, Class 2 an advantage).

• Previous driving or delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

• Strong knowledge of Auckland roads and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.

Work Conditions

• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.

• Hours of Work: Flexible shifts, may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays depending on delivery schedules.

• Work Environment: Primarily road-based with frequent interaction with customers and warehouse staff.
