Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitising of hospital areas, including patient rooms, corridors, bathrooms, and communal spaces.

• Properly dispose of clinical and general waste according to hospital protocols.

• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.

• Follow infection control procedures and comply with occupational health and safety requirements.

• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

• Support the healthcare team by maintaining a hygienic and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

• Work efficiently and accurately while adhering to cleaning schedules and protocols.

• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and hospital staff.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous hospital or healthcare cleaning experience is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and hygiene standards.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

• Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, lift light equipment, and stand for extended periods.
