This role is responsible for updating and maintaining a comprehensive hospitality inventory database that includes hotels, hostels, and serviced apartments. You will conduct independent online research using search engines, industry publications, planning documents, and construction feeds, as well as make phone calls to verify property details. If you have a bachelor’s degree, strong attention to detail, and a natural curiosity for investigative research, this full time position offers a chance to work with a global industry leader. Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the growth of an accurate and complete database of hospitality inventory across the assigned region
Conduct independent online research using a variety of sources including search engines, industry publications, and industry associations
Add new property records and update existing records as new information becomes available through proactive research, GIS and municipal websites, corporate portfolio listings, phone calls, chain feeds, and enrollment forms
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner, meeting key performance indicators and metrics
Stay knowledgeable of industry trends and current news that may affect the assigned region or the company
Understand how current events impact the hospitality industry and the region you cover
Communicate effectively and professionally with properties, clients, and other industry professionals regarding STR and CoStar’s policies and guidelines
Stay aware of updates or changes to STR and CoStar’s methodology, policies, or procedures
Partner closely with STR business development to identify new opportunities, onboard new clients, and resolve client inquiries
Qualifications
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident in Singapore is required. A bachelor’s degree is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Capability to accurately capture and enter data with precision. Ability to work within a team environment as well as an independent contributor. Experience and proficiency using Microsoft suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Additional Asian languages are beneficial. Research experience is preferable. Natural curiosity, persistence, and ability to conduct thorough investigative research are key. Self motivated and goal oriented with a proven success performing to metrics or KPIs. Demonstrated knowledge of or experience within the hospitality industry is preferable. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company.

This full time position offers a monthly salary of three thousand eight hundred to five thousand Singapore dollars based on your experience and qualifications, which aligns with current market rates for associate researcher roles in Singapore.
