Schenker Singapore LTD is seeking for assistant manager to join their team in Changi, East Region, Singapore. The ideal candidate must have ability to ensure all the process fulfill the audit and compliance requirement in accordance with the SOP. This is fresh level full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $5,000-$6,000 per month.
Reponsibilities for Assistant Manager:
- Candidate must have ability to oversee monthly payroll processing for Singapore and Malaysia
- Ability to work closely with payroll vendor to ensure our payroll vendor has processed the monthly payroll and prepared the reports timely and accurately.
- Reviewed the work done by payroll including checking new hire data entry, updates of in-service changes, final payment calculation and filing of the documentation, etc.
- Ensure all the process fulfil the audit and compliance requirement in accordance with the SOP.
- Prepare required monthly reports and upload to global P&O portal or share with related parties.
Qualifications for Assistant Manager:
- Candidate must have diploma or Degree in relevant.
- Experience in handling Singapore & Malaysia payroll
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operation in a manufacturing, logistics or equivalent environment
- Handled payroll portfolio with at least 500 headcount including blue-collar employees / OT-payable employees
- Strong knowledge of the local labour laws especially the Employment Act and the CPF Act
- Strong MS Excel skills preferred Basic to intermediate-level knowledge.
