Associate Charge Nurse Manage (ICCU) Job In New Zealand

Te Whatu Ora are seeking for Associate Charge Nurse Manage ICCU to join their team in Nelson hospital, New Zealand. Nelson hospital is the largest health provider serving the top of the South Island. The ideal candidate is dedicated to fostering a more equitable, accessible, and people-centred health system. At Nelson Hospital, candidate will provide high-quality care to the patient. Candidate will work 9-10 hours per day in a hospital. The salary range for this position is $80,000 per year in New Zealand. For this position, candidate have high degree in bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and master of science in nursing (MSN) are required for this full- time permanent position.

Responsibilities for Associate Charge Nurse Manager:

  • Candidate is responsible for provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  • Participate in staffing decisions, including scheduling, staffing assignments, and recruitment efforts to ensure adequate coverage and skill mix.
  • Ability to monitor and uphold quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the ICCU in partnership with the Certified nurse-midwife (CNM).
  • It offers clinical leadership, mentorship and supervision to nursing personnel.

Qualifications for Associate Charge Nurse Manager:

  • Candidate must have Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient safety
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
