Lake Health district is seeking a behavioural health clinical supervisor to join their team at lakeview, Oregon in New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to provide clinical oversight, education to individual and group supervision about mental health (MH) clinicians. Candidate is responsible for direct day to day supervision to patients. The role requires providing and documenting at least two hours of supervision per staff members in each month. For this position, candidate must hold bachelor’s degree in nursing education and licensed by the state of Oregon. This full time position offers a competitive salary range is $50,000- $80,000 per year. It must have ability to provide culturally responsive treatment services within the philosophy of trauma-informed care.

Qualifications for Behavioural Health Clinical Supervisor:

  • Candidate must meet qualified mental health practicing qualification.
  • It must have bachelor’s degree in nursing and licensed by the state of Oregon.
  • Must have two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.
  • Experience working with courts, laws enforcement, school and various community stakeholders.

Responsibilities for Behavioural Health Clinical Supervisor:

  • Candidate is responsible to provide culturally responsive treatment service within the philosophy of trauma- informed care.
  • Ability to identify precipitating events and gathering histories of mental and physical disabilities.
  • Capability to conduct mental status through examinations document analysis with criteria.
  • It is responsible to remain pleasant and patient with good communication skills.
