Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) are seeking an CALHN emergency medicine professional to join their team in Wellington Central, New Zealand. This position play a pivotal role as an major trauma centre for the state, managing over 1700 trauma patients annually, many of whom have serious injuries. The emergency department (ED) at Queen Elizabeth hospital (QEH) handles approximately 125 patients per day, encompassing a diverse case-mix, including paediatrics and gynaecology. The ideal candidate will posses the ability to provide clinical guidance and supervision to registrars and medical officers. This full-time role requires the ability to work 16-hour shifts, offering a competitive salary range of $146,555 – $152,416 year. It must have ability to provide best healthcare within the hospital. It must have excellent verbal and written communication skill to communicate with patient and their families.

• Providing clinical guidance and supervision to registrars and medical officers.

A new upgrade is in progress to include a new ED wing, in addition to new operating theatres, day surgery suite, outpatient clinics, medical imaging services and intensive care unit.
