As a Calibration Technician you will conduct technical testing and calibration procedures, writing and document control, and maintain a positive resource connection with CFM customers. Responsibilities
- Test customer supplied equipment in accordance with calibration procedures for handheld electrical test equipment, industrial process pressure gauges, temperature indicators torque wrenches and miscellaneous devices.
- Control the daily operations of receiving and shipping customer equipment.
- Control the daily operations of calibration laboratory and documentation of certificates
- Communicate with customer on work scope, costs & billing processes.
- Write specifications, schedules and technical reports as required.
- Assist in the design, development and testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and systems
- Maintain test equipment, laboratory standards and environmental controls of CFM Calibration Lab.
Qualifications
- Education – completion of a 2 year post secondary program
- Experience – A minimum of 2 years of experience in small tools, test equipment or service
- Skills – Proficient in Microsoft products. Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities are essential.
- Mindset – Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
