Caregivers Auckland Job in Metlifecare, New Zealand

We are seeking two kind Caregivers for our Karori Village based in Wellington. You will be working in a fabulous Care Home, with all the amenities provided to deliver outstanding care and make our residents feel safe, honoured and comfortable.
Having a level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or experience in medication administration will enable you to assist our nurses in the day-to-day care of our residents
Pay range is in line with the health and wellbeing payrate published on the Ministry of Health website.

About the role

We are looking for Caregivers to join our West Auckland Villages in New Lynn and Blockhouse Bay. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you’ll be working under the direction of our Registered Nurses providing high standards of care and support to our residents in our Rest home.

Part time permanent role -ranging from 12 – 15 hours a week

Skills and Experience Required:

• Health and Wellbeing certificate preferred.
• Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.
• Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.
• Empathy and enjoys making a difference in our residents’ lives.
