Summary

We are currently hiring for a Certified or Non-Certified Carpenter who considers Safety a number one priority. Reporting to the Field Operations Director, you will perform general carpentry duties. This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.

Key Responsibilities

• At least three years of previous construction experience working on commercial, residential, or institutional.
• Must be comfortable performing multiple different roles, including laborer duties, and tasks related to construction
• Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift to 50lbs
• Able to use hand power tools
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with the ability to travel to various project sites on an as needed basis
• Adherence and participation in the Scott Construction Health & Safety Program
• Valid BC SiteReady, and Fall Protection ticket
• High School diploma
• Red Seal certification is not required
