Category Assistant Job in Singapore

DAISO Singapore PTE.LTD is seeking for category assistant to join our dedicated team in Jurong East, West Region, Singapore. The ideal candidate must have ability to assist in liaising with the marketing team and other relevent departments to support product launches, promotions and campaigns. This is fresh level full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $2,200-$2,900 per month.

Responsibilities for Category Assistant:

• Candidate must have ability to prepare, follow up and update order sheets to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
• Ability to assist the buyer in preparing and compiling sales, inventory and other performance reports.
• Assist in liaising with the marketing team and other relevant departments to support product launches, promotions and campaigns.
• Coordinate with suppliers and third-party distributors to address logistical matters and product availability.

Qualifications for Category Assistant:

• Candidate must have diploma in business, retail and  merchandising.
• Must have minimum 1 year of working experience in the retail industry.
• Proficiency in Ms Office, particularly in Ms Excel, with the ability to handle and analyze large volumes of data.
• Strong attention to details with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
