Arcare Aged Care, one of Australia’s leading aged care providers with 50 residences across QLD, NSW, and VIC, is seeking dedicated Cleaners to join their team in Essendon, VIC. This part-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Pay: $29.86 per hour
Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, Shift Work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other facility spaces to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Waste Management: Dispose of regular trash and medical waste in compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control procedures, using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
  • Stocking Supplies: Ensure cleaning and hygiene supplies, such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents, are adequately stocked for residents and staff.
  • Equipment Use: Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys, and consumables, to maintain facility cleanliness.

Shift Details:

  • Option 1: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
  • Option 2: Part-time, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Requirements:

  • Australian working rights (essential).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
  • No prior experience required, as paid training is provided.
