- $19.80 per hour
Shift:
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (8-hour shift, Evening/Afternoon)
Shift Availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location:
- In person at John F. Kennedy Airport, Jamaica, NY
Responsibilities:
- Trash Management: Gather and empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms, including floors, partitions, mirrors, fixtures (sinks, toilets, urinals), and tiles; report equipment issues promptly.
- Surface Cleaning: Dust and polish furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; clean windows, doors, escalators, elevators, and brightwork (stainless steel, chrome, etc.).
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors using proper chemical cleaners to maintain appearance and longevity.
- Snow Removal: Clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using snowplows, blowers, or shovels; apply snow-melting chemicals as needed.
- Equipment & Supplies: Move furniture or supplies manually or with hand trucks; report low inventory or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Safety & Reporting: Notify management of repairs, safety hazards, accidents, or procedure violations in a timely manner.
- Customer Focus: Adhere to company standards, attend mandatory trainings, and assist with wheelchair operations as needed.
- Flexibility: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Background Check: Must pass a TSA/FAA 10-year employment history verification, including fingerprinting and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC), and maintain this status during employment.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to enhance the customer experience.
- Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a team.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and performing physical tasks.
- Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (excluding religious observances).
