Candidate for this position must be able to work 40 hours per week within a hospital setting. It have ability to the provision and provide high- quality care service within the southland hospital. It should have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and patients. This full-time position offer a competitive salary packages of $83,000 – $112,000 per year. For this position, candidate must actively hold a valid annual practicing certificate (APC) and be registered with the New Zealand psychologists board.
Responsibilities for Clinical Health Psychologist:
- The candidate is responsible for delivering high-quality health psychology service at southland hospital.
- They must possess the ability to provide psychological advice and consultations to patients and their families.
- Managing a diverse caseload involves assessing, formulating and intervention in anxiety and mood difficulties experienced by patients.
- Provide psychological interventions that promote rehabilitation and psychological wellbeing.
Qualification for Clinical Health Psychologist:
- Candidate should demonstrate highly self-motivated and have the ability to manage and prioritise a high workload autonomously.
- It have ability to demonstrated clinical practice in therapy for people with physical health difficulties.
- The candidate must actively maintain a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and be registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.
- It have ability to work independently or within the multidisciplinary team environment.
