Te Whatu Ora are currently seeking for Clinical psychologist to join their team at Whangarei hospital in New Zealand. The basic role is to provide unique life style and community from the vibrant city atmosphere. The ideal candidate should possess the necessary qualifications, including current registration with the New Zealand psychologists board and a clinical scope of practice. It must have strong communication skills to communicate with patients and their families. This full- time position offers a competitive salary range is $75,078 – $106,858 per year. It have ability to work 2 – 3 hours per day within the mental health, addictions and intellect disabilities department.
Requirements for Clinical Psychologist:
- Candidate must have competence, knowledge and skills in clinical and neuropsychology with the strong knowledge of relevant and appropriate adept in psychological assessments.
- Provide professional client-centred psychological practice to patients and their families.
- Ability to work within a team, to work within a fixed time frame.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with patients and their families.
Qualifications for Clinical Psychologist:
- Candidate must be registered psychologist with a current New Zealand practicing certificate.
- It must have comprehensive psychologist assessment and treatment skills.
- Clinical experience in working with individuals with chronic health condition.
- Proficient in evidence based practice within the hospital.
