Te Whatu Ora are seeking for Clinical psychologists to join their team at Dunedin, Southland in New Zealand. The basic role is to provide unique life style and community, from the vibrant city atmosphere of Dunedin. The ideal candidate must hold required qualifications, including current registration with the New Zealand psychologists board and a clinical scope of practice. It must have strong communication skills to communicate with patients and their families. This full- time position offers a competitive salary range is $75,078 – $106,858 per year. It have ability to work 9 -10 hours per day within the mental health, addictions and intellect disabilities department.
Qualifications for Clinical Psychologists:
- Candidate must have competence, knowledge and skills in clinical and neuropsychology with the strong knowledge of relevant and appropriate psychological assessments.
- It must hold current registration with the New Zealand psychologists board and a a clinical scope of practice.
- Demonstrated commitments to clinical and professional development including continuous learning and updating of skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work within a team, to work within a fixed time frame.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with patients and their families.
