Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau are seeking for community mental health social worker to join their team in Whangarei, New Zealand. The community mental health service provide community based assessment and treatment services to people including those presenting with alcohol and drug issues. The ideal candidate have ability to provide the crisis response for mental health, dual diagnosis and clinical rehabilitation. Candidate have ability to work 9 – 10 hours per day within the hospital. For this permanent position, the candidate must be register with a social worker and hold a current practicing certificate. Candidate must have ability to work within the multidisciplinary team environment with in the mental health department.
Qualifications for Community mental health social worker:
- Candidate must be registered social worker with a current practicing certificate.
- Experience in acute and community mental health nursing practice.
- It must have current driving license.
- Experience in coexisting mental health and substance use problems.
