Data Integration Engineer Job In New Zealand

Onside is currently seeking for  data integration engineer to join their team at Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to develop and support data models, pipelines and data visualisation solutions using Microsoft technologies. Onside is an agri-tech scale-up from Christchurch, solving problems for farmers and agribusinesses with cutting-edge, innovative software. Candidate is responsible to collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the data platform meets their requirements. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range is $70,000 – $130,000 per year. Applicant must have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems.

Qualifications for Data Integration Engineer:

• Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in computer science and information systems.
• Previous experience in building data warehouses, data pipelines and data platforms using the lake house architecture.
• Familiar with Power BI and experience building interactive dashboards and report is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and work collaboratively with the ability to work  effectively in a team.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities for Data Integration Engineer:

• Candidate have ability to develop and support data models, pipelines and data visualisation solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to work closely with the data science team and wider engineering team.
• Ensure all relevant data sources are accessible and integrated with the data platform meets their requirements.
• Provide training and support for end users to enable them to effectively utilise data tools and platforms.
