Electrical Supervisor Job in Service Stream, Australia

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Electrical Supervisor to join Service Stream based in Dandenong South to lead and develop our electrical trades team. Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Electrical Supervisor to join our growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and provide day to day technical support to the electrical team
  • Work collaboratively with the Mechanical Supervisor to coordinate activities across large projects and maintenance activities
  • Manage, plan, organize, coordinate, monitor and report all site activities
  • Conduct site audits and inspections in accordance with the required standards
  • Working closely with our existing customers to continue our trusted partner relationship
  • Provide support on Reactive, Maintenance and Installation works
  • Support the electrical team with learning and development by providing ongoing feedback on training requirements
  • Deliver site toolbox meetings
  • Provide input in to quoting and close out work orders
  • Participate in duty roster
  • Project manage quoted or complex jobs where required

About You

You are a motivated and driven leader with great communication and problem-solving skills. You have experience inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing electrical plant equipment while working to a strict set of quality systems.

You will also have:

  • A minimum of 10 years electrical trade experience (Industrial preferred)
  • Experience in Electrical and Instrumentation field hands on problem solving
  • Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
  • Good understanding of Instrumentation and Control equipment
  • Knowledge of the Water industry and infrastructure advantageous
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Strong communication skills both internal and external stakeholders
  • Time management, planning and organizing
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft office suite (Work/ Excel/ Outlook)
  • Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency
  • Able to work autonomously or as part of a team when required
