Location: student’s home near Langdale Marsh, Edmonton, AB T6W 1A5
- Availability: Tuesday and Thursday in the evening, Saturday morning
- Preferred start date: As soon as possible
- Lesson Frequency: 2x a week, 1-hour lessons
- Current target language level: High intermediate
- Language spoken at home: Thai, English
- Student’s language needs and goals: The student would like to improve his accent and pronunciation and build a more advanced vocabulary through structured lessons. He aims to be fluent and feel confident in day-to-day conversation. He is interested in public speaking, too.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
