The ideal candidate have ability to provide support and assisting patients in psychological and physical ways. Te Whatu Ora – Southern hospital provide a comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse population of 350,000 people across the lower South Island. The candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health and forensic needs. It must have ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range is $83,349 per year.

Qualifications for Enrolled Nurse – Forensic Ward:

• Candidate must hold a current diploma of enrolled nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• It must be a current registered nursing council of New Zealand certificate as a enrolled nurse.
• Previous experience in a mental health, psychiatric nursing setting is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, monitoring and care delivery.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and documentation system.

Responsibilities for Enrolled Nurse – Forensic Ward:

• Candidate is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health and forensic needs.
