Facilities Manager Job In New Zealand

Southern cross healthcare are seeking for facilities manager to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. Brightside hospital team are looking for a self-motivated facilities manager is responsible for day to day building management of the hospital. Candidate have ability to work with the team in national support office for capital requirements, requests and delivery of upgrades of replacements. It must have ability to provide safe environment for staff, patients and visitors. For this position, candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in facilities manager. This full time position offers a salary range is $95,000 to $115,000 per year within the facilities manager department.

Responsibilities for facilities manager:

  • Candidate is responsible for managing all proactive and reactive repairs maintenance department.
  • It have ability to manage all contractor maintenance programmes including management, delivery, performance, compliance and budgeting for all building relate services.
  • Ensure building compliance with local authority regulations in New Zealand.
  • Ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide quality-care to the patients within the hospital.

Qualifications for facilities manager:

  • Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience of facilities manager.
  • It must have experience of building management system(BMS).
  • It must have bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration.
  • Ability to triage building related issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with patients and their families.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at same time.
  • Familiarity with building compliance, local authority regulations.
