Facilities Technician Job In New Zealand

Stafford Recruitment is seeking a skilled  facilities technician  to join their team on a sheep farm located just 25 minutes from Timaru in South Canterbury, New Zealand. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range $55,000-$60,000 per year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and farm machinery, such as conveyors and engines.

Qualifications for Facilities Technician:

• Candidate must have proven mechanical and maintenance skills.
• It must have high school diploma.
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a small team, demonstrating adaptability, collaboration and strong team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent work track records and have ability to provide work-related references.
• Full driver’s license and own transport to get to work.

Responsibilities for Facilities Technician:

• Candidate have ability to maintain and repair mechanical equipment and farm machinery, including conveyors and engines.
• It must have ability to perform handyperson tasks, including building repairs and maintenance of machinery.
• Ability to operate tractors and other machinery effectively.
• Communicate effectively with clients, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
