Farm Research Director Job In New Zealand

AgResearch is seeking an experienced farm research director to join their team in Dunedin city, Otago, New Zealand. Qualifications for Farm Research Director:

• Candidate must have degree in agriculture and animal science.
• It must have 8-9 years of experience in farm management.
• Practical knowledge of livestock and crop management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Familiarity with scientific research methods and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and produce reports.

Responsibilities for Farm Research Director:

• Candidate must have ability to lead the day-to-day operations of the farm to ensure optimal performance.
• It must have ability to collaborate closely with researchers to support scientific studies and experiments conducted on the farm.
• Manage farm resources, including livestock, crops, equipment and staff.
• Collect and analyse data related farm operations and collaborate with scientists, industry partners and regulatory bodies.
