Farmer Support and Relationship Advisor Job In New Zealand

Fonterra is seeking for farmer support and relationship advisor to join their team at Hamilton in Waikato, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to manage farms and provide guidance and advice to farmers on best practice in farming including crop management, livestock care and sustainable farming techniques. Candidate is responsible to assist farmers in understanding and complying with agricultural regulations and polices. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $55,000-$60,000 per year. Applicant must have degree in agriculture, agribusiness and animal science. It must have ability to provide training and resources to promote safe farming practices.

Qualifications for Farmer Support and Relationship Advisor:

• Candidate must have degree in agriculture, agribusiness and environmental science.
• Experience in farm management, sustainable agriculture and business administration.
• It must have experience in advisory role especially those involving direct interaction with farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
• Knowledge of farm economics, budgeting, financial planning and access to funding.
• Capability to organize and conduct training sessions, workshops and seminars.

Responsibilities for Farmer Support and Relationship Advisor:

• Candidate is responsible to provide guidance and advice to farmers on best practices in farming including crop management, livestock care and sustainable farming techniques.
• Ability to assist farmers in understanding and complying with agricultural regulations and policies.
• It must have ability to build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, understanding their needs and concerns.
