The Project

CPB Constructors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa.. The Project is located on Niraparib Country, approximately 21 Kilometers southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid-2026.

Join CPB Contractors as a full-time employee and contribute to the success of one of Australia’s largest contractors. Engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 20 days on and 8 days off schedule.

We have opportunities for Final Trim Grader Operators, with experience with GPS, UTS & LPS systems.

Our minimum requirements for this role are

• Relevant RII Qualifications (multi-ticketed candidates would be highly desirable)
• Bulk and detailed earthworks experience using GPS.
• Have experience final trimming to main roads specs & tolerances using LPS & UTS
• Ability to deliver a high standard of work is essential.
• Competent in constructing to design, cutting batters, trimming to design.
• Construction site experience, in a similar FIFO role, 2-3 years minimum
• Hold unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safety in the construction industry (White Card)
• Strong safety awareness
• Be able to work in a team environment.
