About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking a MR Truck Driver / Forklift Operator to commence immediately at our Brisbane Airport Location
• This is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday at $31.45/hour
• The rostered hours will be: Mon to Thurs: 2100 – 0500 and Fri: 1630 – 0030
• Mon-Thurs will be 30% shift loading, Friday will be 17.5% shift loading
• Overtime will be offered on a need by need basis
• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
• Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safely
• Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletizing of freight
• Palletizing freight for travel where required
• Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a Current MR License & Forklift Ticket
• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
• You must have a high attention towards Safety
