Specializing in wheat, barley, hybrid fall rye, seed canola, and seed alfalfa pollinated by our leafcutter bees, we’re looking for individuals eager to contribute to our agricultural and apiary operations. Pay: $17.98 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal
Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
What You’ll Do
As a General Farm Worker, you’ll support various agricultural and apiary tasks to ensure smooth farm operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing general farm duties such as planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Assisting with apiary work, including honey harvesting and apiary management
- Processing and extracting agricultural products, ensuring quality standards are met
- Writing daily basic progress reports to track activities and outcomes
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including wet, dusty, and hot environments
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Fluency in English to ensure clear communication
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required—training will be provided
- Ability to work long hours outdoors in a physically demanding environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and flexibility
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and proximity to Iron Springs, AB
- Interest in agricultural processing and apiary work (experience in apiary and honey harvesting is a plus but not required)
