Responsibilities for General Practitioner:
- Candidate is responsible for documenting a patient’s medical history involves recording pertinent information about their health.
- It must update medical records involves revising and adding relevant information to a patient’s health documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for effective healthcare management.
- Prescribing medications involves recommending and dispensing appropriate drugs based on a patient’s diagnosis and medical history.
- Performing small medical procedures entails conducting minor clinical interventions to diagnose or treat certain conditions.
- Monitoring patients to determine if treatment is successful and, if not, to identify which adjustments might be made.
Requirements for General Practitioner:
- Candidate must holds a general registration and an annual practising certificate with the medical council of New Zealand.
- It has a experience in general practice setting or working towards Vocational Registration.
- Experience with MedTech 32 is beneficial.
- Provide equitable, high quality, patient focused care to their community.
- It has excellent clinical skills.
- It must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
