Crop scouting and monitoring
- Use a scissor lift without supervision to perform daily tasks.
- Scout crops to identify the incidence of insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies and mechanical problems.
- Enter data regarding tracking notes and crop problems.
- Perform daily inspections/checklists of growing areas and equipment.
- Collect and enter crop data to monitor crop performance and quality control.
Culture
- Understand and use the HyCube OS system to accomplish daily tasks.
- Ensure the health and quality of seedlings/transplants.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of hydroponic systems as needed.
- Follow all safety and process procedures for the use of chemicals.
- Complete the necessary food safety records that correspond to horticulture operations.
- Assist production teams as needed.
Prerequisites
- Familiarity with word, excel, power point, etc.
- Capacity to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work at a steady pace without constant supervision
- Ability to use tablets and applications
