Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure that every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and luxurious stay. Your daily tasks will include:

• Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and facilities after cleaning to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Running room status and occupancy reports to manage cleaning priorities.

• Coordinating housekeeping activities with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry departments.

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in room status or cleanliness.

• Managing the allocation of rooms and communicating changes to relevant departments.

• Supporting the Housekeeping Manager in hiring, training, and supervising staff.

• Preparing reports, documentation, and updating room records accurately.

• Ensuring all safety, security, and cleanliness protocols are strictly followed.

• Assisting guests with requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

• Motivating team members to maintain exceptional service standards.

This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 55 pounds (25 kg) independently, and heavier items with assistance.

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

• Skilled in using computers or housekeeping management systems for reports and room tracking.

• Capable of reading, verifying, and entering information accurately into systems.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry.

• At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Team leadership and motivational ability.

• Basic computer literacy for report management and coordination.
